Dangarfield Santa Gertrudis is a family operated seedstock operation which was founded in 1983, and is stud number 1245 with the Santa Gertrudis Association.

The stud is operated by the Adams family, and is located on properties around the Taroom/Wandoan areas in Queensland. The Dangarfield herd is made up of approximately 1600 breeders, comprising both seedstock and commercial breeders over 5 properties.

Around 50 bulls are offered each year at the on-property sale in September, with bulls also available for private sale throughout the year. Dangarfield also grow out all of their own steers and cull heifers to the EU or MSA markets.

With strong emphasis on fertility and efficiency, Dangarfield's breeding philosophy is focused on quiet, easy-doing, fertile cattle that require minimum input for optimum output.
